Eye for Impulse offers self-employed workers temporary contribution to cost of AOV

  • national institutions

The government is keen to encourage self-employed persons or those working with a hybrid professional practice in the creative and cultural sector to take out disability insurance and has therefore released an incentive budget for a certain period.

Starting this month, it is possible to get a temporary contribution toward the cost of disability insurance or fund through the Eye for Impulse program, a program of Platform ACCT.

The scheme is open to anyone working as a self-employed person in the cultural or creative sector. It consists of a one-time incentive payment of 120 euros and reimbursement of fifty percent of monthly expenses (with a maximum of 50 euros per month) for up to 12 months. The scheme currently applies until December 2023 (with retroactive effect from June 1, 2022). Even if you have not yet purchased insurance or are not yet participating in a fund but a contribution is possible once insurance is purchased or participation in a fund is arranged.
