The Cultural Council launched the YoungMakersPlatform, a platform with 15 young creators from different disciplines in the creative field, in late October.

Early this year, the council conducted a series of interviews with nearly 40 start-up artists and creatives about their experiences in corona. The picture that came out of these conversations was worrisome and intense. The conversations formed the basis for an essay in the volume Young people and taking care of their tomorrow. As a result of those conversations, the council wants to continue to engage with young creators. One desire of the council is to involve young creators structurally in its advice.

Participating in the YoungMakersPlatform are young people from many disciplines, i.e. music, visual arts, design/design, theater, photography, dance, word, illustration, as well as young people working as managers or program makers and in the fields of cultural heritage and talent development
