The report was presented to the European Commission on 29 June. Voices of Culture is a platform for dialogue between the cultural sector and the European Union.
The main purpose of this Structured Dialogue is to make the cultural sector's voice heard by EU policymakers. Through open calls, representatives from the cultural field are invited to apply for brainstorming sessions on topics that are important in the policy-making process of the European Commission.
The report contains five chapters covering topics such as the legal status of artists and their financial situation, research, artistic freedom, diversity, lifelong learning and mobility.
