Creative Europe

Information about funding opportunities for culture from the European Union.

The Creative Europe program will receive additional budget for the year 2022. It is planned that the first calls will be published at the end of April 2021. The first deadlines will then presumably fall before the summer vacations. Full participation of all countries that participated in the previous Creative Europe program 2014-2020 - with the exception of the United Kingdom - remains possible (subject to change) until at least 2022. At over €2.5 billion over seven years, the total budget for Creative Europe 2021-2027 has been significantly increased compared to the previous program. Because the program is starting later than intended, the distribution of the budget has been revised. In 2022, additional resources will be deployed and the program will offer maximum opportunities for international initiatives. In addition to the Culture and MEDIA subprograms, this new program also includes a cross-sectoral subprogram.
