Still financing
After an objection, Kunsthuis SYB received funding for two years from the Mondriaan Fund.
Together with 12 other art institutions, art house SYB received in September 2020 a 'positive advice without allocation' from the Mondriaan Fund, this was due to a shortage of budget. SYB submitted a substantive objection to the fund: the committee has weighed this objection and declared it valid. As a result, Kunsthuis SYB will receive a contribution for 2021 and 2022 of € 220.000. SYB regrets that a structural solution has not been found for all institutions that ended up "under the saw line" in September.
