?rt for Ukraine
On behalf of the Cultural and Creative Sector Taskforce, Kunsten '92 organized the ?rt for Ukraine campaign in the first weekend of March. There was a broad response to this from the cultural sector and the campaign will continue until at least March 31. Registration is still possible via this form. Kunsten '92 also makes an appeal: "As an advocate for art, culture, heritage and the creative sector, we are also concerned about the situation of the artists, creatives, cultural organizations and heritage that Ukraine has. Artists, scientists and journalists - both from Ukraine and Russia - are often at extra risk in these situations. We also see that cultural institutions and cultural heritage are now being targeted by attacks. Therefore, we endorse the (...) pleas, and are happy to share here the various fundraising efforts with cultural purposes. We also ask our supporters to pass on initiatives to us, so that we can share them more widely with the cultural and creative network in the Netherlands.”
Solidarity Actions
Platform BK is collecting information for an overview of joint solidarity actions in the Dutch, Ukrainian, and Russian art communities for the war victims in Ukraine and all those who are fleeing.
Housing
We are hearing from various quarters about initiatives regarding temporary housing for refugee artists from Ukraine. As soon as more is known about this, we will share this information on our website and through our socials if desired.
