Artist Base

Thirty-three artists were awarded a contribution in the Artist Basic scheme in the fall of 2021, intended for visual artists who have been working as professional visual artists for four years or more. The contribution can be used to create new work and further develop professional practice. The contribution can be applied for throughout the year. To get an impression: in 2021, 162 applications were processed, of which 87 were granted.

Artist Start

Thirty-three applications were also accepted within the Artist Start scheme in the fall. This contribution is intended for beginning artists who have been working professionally for a minimum of one to a maximum of four years. The contribution can be used for everything related to the development of work and artistic practice, such as research, materials, equipment and projects at home or abroad and can also be applied for throughout the year. In 2021, 209 applications were processed, of which 72 were awarded.
