The galleries that will be part of the Art Purchase Scheme in the coming years were recently announced. The scheme has existed since 1997 and in the 20 years of its existence some 48,900 buyers took advantage of it, buying over 158 million euros worth of artworks. The KunstKoop allows individuals to buy contemporary art and design on installments from over 120 galleries throughout the Netherlands without paying interest. The loan is paid off in installments and the Mondriaan Fund bears the interest.
