At the end of last year we called for online nominations for the list of 100 key works of post-war visual art in public space. The list is now available: www.sleutelwerken.nl. A striking number of the nominations we received were for monuments. It seems to be a very accepted and appreciated art form. This article focuses on two contemporary monuments.
