What does the following BK information say?

In BK Information #7 Among other things, we’ll be looking at work-life balance. How do you handle that as a self-employed artist? In response to the podcast It can also be different, in which Esther Didden interviewed artists for a year for BK-informatie about turning points in their professional practice; Esther wrote an essay on freedom: while developing the podcast, she drew on the work of the German philosopher Hannah Arendt. In 1958, she wrote the book The Human Condition, in which Arendt identifies one of the defining characteristics of a human being as the fact that humans are always engaged in doing new things.

In addition, for this edition we are once again compiling dozens of open calls and residencies for visual artists both in the Netherlands and abroad.

Also included are, among other things, a full ‘Industry News’ section, our calendar of group exhibitions, new publications of interest to visual artists, the photo feature—provided this time by Nest in The Hague—and the artist’s column, written this time by Kim Streur, about a residency in her own country.

The new BK information will be delivered by October 30 at the latest.
