As of November 23, no suggestions for key works can be submitted. We would like to thank everyone for sharing their thoughts on key works in the public spaces of the Netherlands. We have received more than 500 suggestions with which we will start working.
What happens next?
In December, the working group led by Sacha Bronwasser will start working with all the suggestions and advice and will finally choose the 100 works of art. These will be announced in February. You will hear more about the 100 key works at Art Rotterdam on 7 February, during the BK lecture by Esther Didden.
The working group consists of: Annet Zondervan (CBK Zuidoost), Mieke Conijn (Kunstenlab, Deventer), Selby Gildemacher (Piek!), Monica Boekholdt (Buro de Maten), Hermelinde van Xanten (Kunstloc Brabant) and Siebe Thissen (CBK Rotterdam). Sandra Smets is taking part in the working group on behalf of the board of the BK-information Foundation. The project leader is Esther Didden.
This project is made possible thanks to: BNG Culture Fund, Prince Bernhard Culture Fund, Mondriaan Fund, KunstLoc Brabant, Province of Drenthe, Province of Flevoland and Province of Gelderland.
