Anningahof estate

Sculpture park Anningahof estate is located on the outskirts of Zwolle. Having been transformed from a meadow into an official estate, it has hosted changing exhibitions every year since 2004. The philosophy of the park is to show the development of Dutch contemporary sculpture; work from 1960 to the present. Besides some "old" masters such as André Volten, Shinkichi Tajiri and Cornelius Rogge, artists with established names show both indoor and outdoor sculptures. Annually returning names include Hans van Bentem, Sjoerd Buisman, Tom Claassen, Rob Voerman and Henk Visch. There is also room for young talent, such as Levi van Veluw and Maartje Korstanje.

The more than 5-acre park itself, with wildflowers, ponds, grasslands and more than 200 far-ranging species of trees is a great place for contemporary sculpture. On display are 90 sculptures by 64 artists. Work is also exhibited in the indoor spaces.

Still to be visited through Oct. 27, 2024
