Stokroos Foundation recently released its annual report.
The Stokroos Foundation financially supports artists, designers and cultural institutions in the creation and presentation of new work. The foundation recently released its annual report. In 2020, Stokroos received 296 requests for a donation to create and present new work, or to conduct research that will eventually lead to new work. The total amount requested was 815,858 euros; an average of 2,756 euros per application. The vast majority of the 253 applications (85 percent) concerned a project in the field of visual arts, 43 applications (15 percent) concerned design. In total, Stichting Stokroos awarded a guarantee grant of 219,792 euros (average 1,895 euros) to 116 applications (39 percent) and rejected 180 requests.
