A recent survey by NRC (NRC, Feb. 1, 2023) shows that, compared to other sectors, the Dutch art sector is slow to become sustainable and poorly gearedïnformed about climate adaptation options. Museums and funds appear to develop little to no policy to implement the agreements of the 2015 Paris Climate Summit. Moreover, Lucette ter Borg writes in the article, "the ties of museums in the Netherlands to fossil and/or polluting industries are still intimate."
