The purpose of the loan is to improve the self-employed person's ability to earn income again. The condition is that the self-employed person generates at least 50% of his or her own income. One-man businesses' can apply for a loan of € 10,000 to € 75,000 with a maximum term of five years. Organisations can apply for a loan of € 25,000 to € 500,000 with a term of up to ten years. The loan is offered at 1% interest rate.
New applications can be made until 1 October coming.
The loan is part of the aid package of € 300 million that the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science made available for the cultural sector within the framework of the corona pandemic.
