On Saturday June 26th, the Amsterdam Fund for the Arts and the Amsterdam Arts Council launched 'Cultuurherstel', a platform for professional advice and financial knowledge for art institutions in North-Holland. Through 'Cultuurherstel', cultural organizations can strengthen their financial basis with the help of a coach and, if necessary, take out a loan.

Because the impact of the coronavirus on the cultural sector is great and the consequences will be felt for a long time, the execution of new work is under pressure and the need for new revenue models is increasing. Cultuurherstel (formerly the Society for the Preservation of Art and Culture) aims to contribute to the structural strengthening of the art, culture and heritage sector. By assisting subsidized and non-subsidized organizations in investing in a future-proof management and new ways of working.
