An exhibition where twenty-two contemporary artists bring together past, present and future around one urgent question: how do we relate to the dune landscape and the North Sea? For their work, the artists are inspired by the ideas of Hendrik Willem Mesdag and Sientje Mesdag-van Houten. As early as 1881, with their famous Panorama of Scheveningen, the artist couple drew attention to the vulnerability of the coastal landscape and the preservation of the Seinpost dune.
