This week Esther Didden is in Axel at the workplace of Tamara Dees. There have been several turning points in her life, the most recent dating back to July 3, 2023. She herself has since called that date: the birthday of my new self.
Tamara then underwent surgery for a benign brain tumor. The surgery was successful, but fairly soon complications arose and she was found to have bacterial meningitis. Another surgery was needed. She has since had - as it is officially called - noncongenital brain injury (NAH). She went through lengthy rehabilitation, actually still. She had to re-learn to focus and reinvent herself as an artist. Her subject matter has not changed, dealing with it has.
